Here’s to the last of my Dubai posts! Today’s post is almost like a food diary with some of the most delicious food I experienced while I was in Dubai including China Grill, which was mentioned in the first blog post and our delicious buffet lunch at Kempinski Hotel.
The above photo was taken at Vida Downtown, a boutique hotel with such an amazing view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Every Friday, Vida’s ‘Urban Picnic’ is by the pool and we were lucky enough to go there on a Friday and experience this amazing spread of food. I didn’t want to leave. It was so delicious. Looking at these pictures brings back happy memories – I’m hungry now. They have a good range of cocktails and their desserts were amazing! I feel like I’m gaining a kilo looking at all the food photos. If I didn’t have a fashion blog, I would be a food blogger.
Some of the other Bloggerati bloggers were staying here and we were lucky enough to have breakfast here once. The food was great and their poolside view is again beautiful.
We had afternoon tea at Raffles Dubai and they have some of the prettiest desserts, which are just delicious. I definitely recommend coming here if you ever come to Dubai. Their scones were so good. I do not have a word to describe how good this afternoon tea was. It was one of the best ones I have had so far. Their savouries were ‘different’, you will have to try it out!
Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai
If you like waterparks and thrills, spend a day at Atlantis! They have some really scary rides that will probably make you a little nauseous after. I have to come back here and hopefully then I’ll be daring enough to try the Leap of Faith, a 60-foot vertical drop down a slide that takes you through a shark tank! There is also Aquaventure beach to chill at for those that are not interested in the crazy water rides! A fun destination for families.
That is the end of the Dubai series! I have to thank the Nuffnang staff for making this such a wonderful trip. I’m grateful to all of you lovelies. I have to also thank Xavier from 1001 events for organising all our transfers and taking us to all our experiences. The trip was smooth running and I had tons of fun. It was a real pleasure to meet all the other Bloggerati bloggers and hope to see you guys soon!
