Now that I’m finally back home in Melbourne after a busy month of being abroad, here is a long overdued post on my 4 day luxury road trip with Accor Hotels from Brisbane to Byron Bay that I embarked on last month. I had such a fantastic time indulging on good food with good company, I’d wish I could do it all over again! I decided to split this into 3 blog posts since I have so many awesome photos to share. I posted up a video of this trip awhile back and I had such a hard time picking the best clips, so I’m not going to hold back with the photos on my blog! If you haven’t watched it yet, here a video recap!
Anyway, upon touching down in Brisbane, we were chauffeured in premium Ubers to the lovely Incholm Hotel where we checked in and scooted off to a french picnic in the sky for lunch at Sofitel Brisbane Central. Check out the amazing spread of treats, we were spoiled with choices! This was the point I knew I was going to have to put a pause on my healthy diet and have 4 cheat days! I won’t lie, it was definitely worth it!
So after lunch, we went back to The New Incholm Hotel to get a manicure, enjoyed cheese and wine (yes, more food!), and took it easy for the rest of the day until dinner. The hotel has different suite options where some were two storied suites and others were single storied with a larger lounge area and a beautiful bathtub. Definitely love their range of skin and body care from APPELLES which smells amazing, and I’m glad I managed to get a nice bubble bath in before leaving the next day.
This hotel is definitely where I’ll be checking in the next time I visit Brisbane as it’s in a good location and you’ll fall in love with it’s beautiful deco and dinner at the hotel’s chef-hatted Thomson’s Reserve restaurant was on of the highlights of my trip. I missed out taking good photos of a couple of dishes because the venue was a little dark, but here’s a look at what we had from the fantastic menu put together by Chef Michael Crosbie.
