Hello! So it’s freezing in Melbourne today and I think it was as low as 8 degrees two days ago? Very much missing the nice and warmth of Sydney during MBFWA. Today’s post is a share of my stay in Sydney at PARKROYAL in Darling Harbour. I stayed in one of their club rooms with access to their club privileges which was definitely one of my highlights of my stay. Absolutely loved their breakfast spread everyday and free flow of drinks throughout the day.
For most of the week I was pretty much either at MBFWA or at the Club Lounge enjoying drinks and canapes while working on my blog and piecing together video clips for insiteTV (which just went live today -here!). While at night I’d heading to China Town which is also a short walk away to indulge in where all the good food’s at. I did manage to get some free time to explore Sydney, and Darling Harbour is only a short stroll from PARKROYAL so it’s definitely a plus when staying here.
Anyways, here are some pretty pictures of the place, definitely a great place to stay, and an even better place if you’re in Sydney for work and need a comfortable area to work as their club lounge is perfect and have very reliable Internet (I was uploading gigabytes of videos at insane speeds).
Awesome view out my window taken at night. Kinda regret not going to Darling Harbour at night to take some snaps. I’m sure the Harbour Bridge would be an excellent view at night.
PARKROYAL happened to know it was my birthday a day before my arrival through my booking info I assume, and I got a nice bottle of wine and some chocolates! It was a pleasant surprise upon checking in so thank you very much! I happened to get pre-birthday gifts and post-birthday gifts this year haha.
View from their reception. They also had rental bikes near the main door of the reception which I wanted to use on my final day but ended up running out of time. That would have been a fun one to test out my new GoPro with. Definitely handy for a day of sightseeing in Sydney CBD area.
Lovely spread of cheese and wine from the Club Lounge to keep me company while working
Also had some cocktails at their Abode Bistro Bars. Didn’t manage to have dinner but the steaks looked pretty good there so I probably will be back for it. Overall, enjoyed my stay here as it was a very pleasant stay, close to key places like China Town and Darling Harbour, and pretty easy to get to places. And that’s about it, do check out my video recap of my Sydney trip and hope this helps
