Hi! Today’s blog post is going to share my favourite experiences while I was in Dubai. I’ll start off with a picture of my American Tourister turquoise luggage and I! I took this photo right before I left for Dubai. I will never have a hard time spotting my case now.
I’ve shared some photos from Dubai Aquarium on my previous blog post. This is the largest aquarium I’ve ever seen and is located in The Dubai Mall, a definite must-go place when you visit Dubai.
6) Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding
I came to Dubai with the intention of learning more about its culture, and visiting Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding located in Old Dubai and the mosque was just an amazing cultural experience. Out of the two I enjoyed Old Dubai more because we got to do lots of activities there and explore the local stores. I have been to mosques before as I was brought up in Brunei, but if you haven’t, it is probably a nice 30-minute stop.
One of the places that I just had to visit was Ski Dubai. I have seen many bloggers talk about it before and I wanted to experience it for myself! It is just so cool to be in an indoor ski center and they have slides, slopes, zip wire and a beautiful view from the chairlift. I can’t ski, so I was just chilling on the chairlift. I freaked out a little because it was quite high. We also paid a visit to the resident King Penguins and they are the cutest little things in the world! We got to pat and kiss them. The kids would love it, even the adults! haha
We also went to Kempinski Hotel after visiting Ski Dubai as they are both located in the Mall of the Emirates. The food was absolutely delicious.
At the Top, Burj Khalifa
This is located in Dubai Mall. This is the tallest building in the world so no doubt that this is a must go place.
The Dubai Mall
If the Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Aquarium haven’t convinced you, there’s just so much more to do at the mall. I have a full review here, but basically it is a good destination for families. There is KidZania for the kids, SEGA Republic, and most importantly there are lots of shops!
Dubai Desert with Platinum Heritage
This has to be the favourite part of my trip! It was an amazing experience. We arrived at the camp just as the sun set. Make sure you bring your camera with you because the views are spectacular. I’m looking forward to coming back here again. Here’s a full blog post on the Dubai Desert!
That concludes my dubai top experiences. Hope you enjoyed this post!
