Hey everyone! Just want to write a little blog post to wish everyone a happy new year. I know I am so late but better late than never! I got back from Japan about a week ago and I had such a good time there. It started off quite bad because I had a really bad anxiety attack on the way to Japan, and so I took a couple of days of social media, and just relax, eat and take some photos. This trip was probably my favourite travel adventure of 2016.
Italy and Greece were amazing, and so is Fiji but I was rushing to different locations in Italy and Greece every day so it was extremely tiring. We were on 5 -6 hours of sleep because I’ve packed in too many locations during our short time there. I definitely want to go back to Greece this year, explore other islands and this time I’ll take it easy! So that’s probably the reason why I liked my Japan trip so much because we didn’t squeeze in too much in that two weeks. I absolutely love Takayama and I regretted only staying there for two nights. I reckon Takayama deserves so much more than 2 days! I’ve shared a couple of photos on Takayama on my instagram and there are heaps more in just the short two days. It is just so beautiful and peaceful there.
I have to say that Niseko was probably the highlight of my trip because I got to try new things, I got to ski and snowboard but I decided to go with snowboard. It is just tiny bit more fun for me. I always like to take on new challenges and winter sports is definitely something I wanted to try. We snowboarded for 3 full days. Three full days! Normally i’ll freak out because I haven’t take any photos for my blog, instagram, or video for youtube. It’s always about work work work, I can’t turn it off but this time I really want to take the time to enjoy this. It was honestly so fun to get to do this with Adrian and friends. We were all new in snowboarding and we fell a million times. Definitely hurt my wrist since I broke my wrist before but it’s all good. It’s still a little sore but hopefully it will recover soon!
The above photo was taken in Niseko as well, at one of the train station around there. I was wearing this cute Let it Snow! Jumper and paired it with a pastel pink jeans. Perfect outfit for the scenery and mood. I do wish that I spent a bit more time exploring Niseko because all i did was snowboarding! haha. I am heading back to Hokkaido soon to explore other parts of Hokkaido so do let me know any great places to visit! Also if you want to see more of this outfit, do check out my latest Japan Travel Diary video for my trip and also close up of the jumper. Video is at the bottom of this blog post. Anyway I am going to be updating my blog more often because i feel like I have so much to write but I just don’t have time to update my blog as much anymore. That’s definitely one of my goals this year! That’s all for today! Have a lovely day everybody!
