Konichiwa! I finally got around to sorting out some pictures from my recent Singapore trip and here they are! I was in Singapore for a runway event for JRunway, a multi-label boutique store stocking the latest threads from Japan. I was joined by a couple of other international and local bloggers for the event celebrating the debut of tons of new Harajuku street style Japanese clothing and accessory brands! yay! Do check out their online store as I’m sure you’ll find some great buys. They pretty affordable and they ship to Aussie and they’ve got some specials going on now with Chinese New Year coming up.
Anyways, it was a really fun event with a great crowd. I walked an in-store runway which was cool and I’m glad I didn’t fall haha. Reminded me of my first runway walk at Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival where all I was repeating in my head is to not fall! Enjoy the rest of the pictures, and already missing Singapore and the crazy bunch of awesome people I met!
Oh and before I sign off, I just wanna do a quick share on Blacklane for anyone who’s traveling soon. If you haven’t heard of them, they’re a professional driver service in over 180 cities around the world. I used them on my way to the airport for the first time before I headed off to Singapore and comparing it to normal taxis or Uber, I think their a class above and I had a really good experience. I mentioned it several times before that I have an anxiety problem where I get panic attacks and I get them sometimes when stepping into cars that drive erratically, have lots of sudden brakes or just feels like an oven temperature wise. I really appreciated that the driver waited a good 20 minutes for me as I was late and still packing and the car was clean, cool and it was a smooth ride. Maybe it’s just me but I really appreciate services that pay good attention to detail and it’s value for me for me especially with my condition. Do give them a go the next time you need a ride!
