Today marked the opening of Australia’s first SUPERGLUE concept store in Highpoint Shopping Centre in Melbourne. It’s pretty much a super-sized up version of the Glue Store and will probably be your next go-to store for the best fashion finds for you local readers.
The SUPERGLUE concept store brings together international and local brands, offering a diverse range of styles for everyone. Being at the store today reminded me of the atmosphere while shopping in big brand stores overseas where the stores are spacious and airy, fashion wears are diverse, and is just a place where people can relax and chill out.

You can definitely experience that in this store as there’s a coffee and music station, chill out spots, a tailoring workshop, and the very first Miss Selfridge store in Aussie, all here in this mega store! Very glad to hear more UK brands coming over down south
I hope you enjoy this preview of what awaits you in Highpoint and what to expect following an insightful tour of the store with the store’s chairman himself, Hilton Seskin.
Here’s a snapshot of my favourite brands that are offered within the store.
The very first Miss Selfridge store in Australia, one of the most popular high street store from the UK. Miss Selfridge has always been one of my favourite stores since I was young. I still have a fond memory of buying my first dress from this label while shopping in Singapore over 10 years ago!
I’m sure many of you know that I’m a big fan of studded items as seen from my previous blog posts. The Ragged Priest label has found a new place in my heart and is my new obsession! One of my personal highlight of the store. Would highly recommend checking them out if you like grungy, studded products.
Here we have a cafe, music, iPads to access the web, and magazines – all to help you gain inspirations when trying to shop for a big night out or entertain you while you ponder over what dress to get! Just refreshing to see a different environment locally as we have a bit of catching up to do with overseas stores. Read more with the link below!
It’s also an honorable mention for the store to give back to the community by having a section for local emerging designers. There’s competition for designers to enter where they can be selected to have their products in the store.
Here’s another highlight of the store – a station for all your tailoring needs. They have G-Star tailors from Holland from their original Raw Tailored store who can help customise a pair of jeans for you or alter ones that you’ve purchased from the store.
Finally here are several standout items and brands that caught my eye
Offering of a large range of denims from basic to high end labels.
Denham, another great Dutch denim brand!
Hope you enjoyed this preview. Unfortunately the store has to close sometimes, but I’m sure you can find a good time to catch them open when you visit Highpoint
