To kick off Spring season a couple of weeks ago, I joined a group of bloggers at The Mansion in Werribee Park for a high tea experience, cheekily dubbed SocieTEA. It was a delightful afternoon of sweet and savoury delicacies swerved with warm tea, and the weather was a perfect 20 degrees.
My outfit of the day was a blouse and skirt from Zara, Shoes from Jeffrey Campbell and topped up with a fuzzy cardigan. I was going for a bright and fun outfit to celebrate the colourful gardens at the Mansion.
This was the first time I’ve visited Werribee and while enjoying the sights along the drive I swore I saw a Giraffe while my boyfriend insisted it was some fake statue or something. First thing I did when I got home was to check out the Zoo’s website and they do in fact have Giraffes! I haven’t been to the zoo in ages and it’s definitely going to be part of my itenary on my next visit to the Mansion to enjoy another afternoon of tea.

Here are some lovely pictures of The Mansion at Weribee. They have a beautiful garden and several ponds, and there was a wedding reception going on that day as well. Definitely a great atmosphere to tie the knot!
Beautiful day with blue skies and people enjoying the weather. During the Summer, the SocieTEA seatings would be done out here.
Here we are all seated up cozily in the Library within The Mansion. Every two across a table were pampered with cocktails, tea from T2 and a 3 tier platter of delicious sweet and savory sinful treats. Missing from the pictures is another plate of baked goodies like pies, savory muffins and quiches. I am such a huge fan of these small treats but could not finish indulging all of them!
I think everyone at the table agreed that they had a wonderful selection of tea choices but the French Earl Grey from T2 was hands down the winner. I have got to dust off my mint-coloured teapot (How could I resist not buying a cute mint teapot!?) from T2 which I rarely use, stock up on some T2 tea and bring it to work soon.
Anyways, this was a great fun filled afternoon, too bad we did not end it with a visit to the spa upstairs for a massage. I’m still in a holiday mood as I just got back from my short trip to Brunei back home, and I could so use a foot massage right about now. Definitely planning to revisit this place along with the Zoo this Spring/Summer.
Me and the always-so-beautiful Kyra.
